Thanks to Susan of The Well Seasoned Cook for allowing me to host the 39th edition of My Legume Love Affair. I received a lot of interesting entries, from salads and sandwiches to dals and curries. I already made one of the recipes – the Missi Roti from My Kitchen Trials. They were a huge hit at my Indian dinner party, and I am now officially obsessed with chickpea flour. Now I just need to make my way through the rest of the great recipes here! I’ve got my eye on the lovely Soybean Pasta Soup from Love Food Eat, Tempeh in Cilantro Curry from Hobby and More and Warm Carrot and Flageolet Bean Salad from The Taste Space. And there are so many great dals and curries, I don’t know where to start.
If you want even more ways to make your life beanier (yes, that’s a made up word), be sure to check out my guest post for Eating Rules’ October: Unprocessed event. It’s all about … you guessed it … beans. And while you’re there, sign the October: Unprocessed pledge to eat no processed foods for the entire month. You can do it!
Without further adieu, here are the entries for My Legume Love Affair 39. Read on for the big prize winner, along with a special shout-out to my favorite photo of the event.
